Hidden Hunger:

For Placer Food Bank

Here is a quick excerpt from a local client of the Placer Food Bank. Just one of 100 of lives affected by their distribution network that is influencing a growing demographic of those that are going without in Placer County. Stories like this, has created an interest to create a more involved series of stories of those utilizing local Food Bank Services. In 2015, Teton Productions and the Placer County Food Bank is looking to create just that. A six part series on those effected by hunger in Placer County.

The purpose of the series is to attract broader support for programs that are currently serving this growing population. The series will be a powerful tool in raising funds and partnerships to advance existing efforts like Placer County’s mobile food pantry. The mobile pantry currently delivers thousands of pounds of fresh produce into our area’s most remote regions; areas most commonly referred to as food deserts. With a coalition of local food banks, award-winning media producers and the momentum of the Hidden Hunger series, we have a timely opportunity to reach thousands of new supporters for this cause.
