Changing Lives Together (CLT)

History: Changing Lives Together Inc. was founded by George Hanson & his wife Jean, a Ghanaian couple now living in the United States. After graduating from college, George was assigned to the Sumaman Secondary School in Suma Ahenkro for a one year term.The level of poverty, hardship and suffering he witnessed in this rural community was staggering, very much unlike the middle class life he had experienced, growing up in the capital city of Ghana. Most families in this small rural village lived on an average household income of $1 – $2 a day.

CLT Inc is an international NGO with it’s headquarters in Northern CA. Their mission is to provide sustainable economic development for impoverished communities throughout rural Ghana.  CLT id utilizing a village adoption model to provide a sustainable approach to fighting poverty and empowering these communities. We’re proud to be part of their journey in telling the world the good work their doing throughout Ghana.
