Most westerners know Nepal to be the trekking capital of the world. Stories of climbing
expeditions summiting Mount Everest or befalling tragedy in their
attempts – are often front-page news. While the allure and wonder of Nepal, with its
majestic Himalayas and provocative Hindu and Buddhist temples draws many adventurers,
this fertile country nestled between India and China is one of the poorest nations on earth.

These documentary shorts will focus on the plight of women and orphans in Nepal and the disadvantages and hardships that they currently face.
